christmas’s recovery will take about a year, with 1-5 years for arthritis to set in. she had a donor bone put in(10 broken), and will have to undergo another surgery in the future for the arthritis. she’s in tears, but doesn’t want anyone to feel sorry for her. she most likely has to retire from sports.
